1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for your account, credentials, devices, and all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. We may suspend or secure an account when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or its users.
3. Safety, location, and territory
Use the Service only when it is safe and lawful. Remain aware of traffic, weather, terrain, private property, local rules, and your physical condition. The Service is not emergency, navigation, medical, or safety advice. GPS, maps, routes, territory boundaries, recommendations, and activity metrics may be inaccurate or incomplete; verify your surroundings and never rely on the Service as your only source of directions or safety information.
Territory, routes, scores, and related visuals are in-app features only. They create no ownership, access, control, or other right in real property or any physical location.
4. Acceptable use and fair play
You must not submit fake or manipulated GPS data or activities; automate claims; impersonate others; harass, threaten, or defraud; post unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive content; scrape or reverse engineer the Service except where law permits; interfere with security or availability; or use the Service in a way that violates law or another person’s rights. We may investigate violations and remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts.
5. Your content and feedback
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display, distribute, and display that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Service through the audience settings you choose. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license. If you send feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation.
6. Paid features
Paid features may be offered through auto-renewing subscriptions purchased from Apple App Store or Google Play. The applicable store controls billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. Prices, taxes, trials, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Deleting your Runquest account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it through the store account controls.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content other than user content, is owned by Runquest or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or accurate operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
9. Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when you breach these Terms, create risk for the Service or others, or where required by law. We may change the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
10. Governing rules and contact
These Terms do not limit consumer protections that apply under mandatory law. Any dispute will be handled under the mandatory law and forum rules that apply to you and the legal seller identified in the applicable app-store listing. Questions: support@runquestapp.app.
